About Saved By His Grace

Saved By His Grace, started in 2003, is a ministry of comitted Christians who love the Lord Jesus Christ and are dedicated to sharing His Word, Love, Truth, Mercy and Saving Grace throughout the world, that all might know it is by Grace alone by which we have been given eternal life in Christ.

Thomas Bartel, founder and site administrator of Saved By His Grace, came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in 1991 at College Avenue Baptist Church in San Diego, California.  Tom is a 2005 graduate of the Masters in Theology, Biblical Studies program at  Fuller Theological Seminary Pasadena, California.  From 1994-1997 He served as an Elder at Christ Church of the Ascension in Paradise Valley, Arizona.  

He has been involved in divorce recovery, divorce prevention, remarriage preparation, conflict resolution and personal enrichment ministries at Scottsdale Bible Church, Highlands Community Church and Christ's Church of the Valley in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Since 1999, He has taken part on numerous evangelistic church planting missions trips to Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, with e3 Partnersof Dallas, Texas   to spread the Gospel message and plant new Evangelical churches in those countries. Mission trips are sponsored through e3 Partners, along with Iglesia de Florida in San Lorenzo, Paraguay. A sister organization, Su Refugio, an orphange project established by Scott Kvandal of Marantha Chapel in San Diego, to assist the homelss children in Paraguay and Argentina, opened it's doors in July of 2009.

In 2001 Tom was the founding Executive Director of the Arizona Alliance for Community and Faith Based Action, a 501c3 non profit organization begun by a number of local Christians in the Phoenix area, to aid and finacially assist Faith Based and Community organizations in the state of Arizona.

The mission of Saved By His Grace is for the Glory, Grace, Truth, Love, Forgiveness and Saving Knowledge of Jesus Christ to be proclaimed throughout the world in a loving and personal way. Other individuals who are involved in this ministry include Thomas M. Bartel, John "Bo" Derning and David Ballard.
